Februar – doch nicht so schlimm! / February – ain’t that bad after all!

Ich hasse den Februar, denn er ist und bleibt der längste Monat des Jahres, auch wenn uns der Kalender etwas anderes vorgaukelt. Er zieht und zieht sich in die Länge. Gerne möchte ich im Garten loslegen, aber der Regen der letzten Wochen hat den Boden ziemlich „gesättigt“, um es einmal vorsichtig auszudrücken. Dennoch sehe ich mit grosser Freude, wie Narzissen & Co., Clematis u.v.m. austreiben. Das ist doch Grund zur Freude, und die nächsten zwei Wochen bringen wir auch noch herum! Zudem gab es an der Fotofront ein paar Highlights, die mich sehr glücklich machen.

I hate February for being the longest month in the year, although the calendar leads us to believe it’s not true. It drags on endlessly. I’d love to get going in the garden but the rain turned the ground into a rather unpleasant affaire. But there are whisperings everywhere…narcissi, clematis & Co. all show signs of impatience. Reason to be happy, and we’ll surely get over the next two weeks! A couple of highlights on the photography side greatly reduced this month’s horror.
