A Voyage through the Paintbox VI/ Eine Reise durch den Farbkasten VI

This is the final part of my voyage through the paintbox. I’m so happy to have been able to visit South Africa a couple of times, even more so now that everything has changed and traveling will never be the same again. The landscapes, colours, plants and wildlife have been etched in my memory forever. For those among you who haven’t seen the last episodes of my voyage please click here. The last part is all about the fynbos, this magical world which is home to 9000 plant species of which two thirds are endemic. Such a richness, it’s simply awesome! Sugarbirds and sunbirds play an important role as pollinators in this ecosystem, that’s why you’re going to see lots of birds. I hope you enjoy the slideshow 🙂

Das ist der letzte Teil meiner Reise durch den Farbkasten. Ich bin so glücklich, dass ich Südafrika ein paar Mal besuchen konnte, vor allem jetzt, da sich alles geändert hat und das Reisen nie mehr wie früher sein wird. Die Landschaften, Farben, Pflanzen und Tiere haben sich für immer in mein Gedächtnis eingeprägt. Die vorangegangenen Teile meiner Reise findet ihr hier. Die letzte Episode widme ich dem Fynbos, eine einzigartige Welt, die 9000 Pflanzenarten beherbergt, von denen zwei Drittel endemisch sind. Ein unglaublicher Reichtum! Honigfresser und Nektarvögel spielen als Bestäuber eine wichtige Rolle in diesem Ökosystem, deshalb gibt es viele Vögel zu sehen. Ich hoffe, euch gefällt die Diashow 🙂
