Danke, liebe Imelda 🙂
Just came back from Switzerland where I had the immense pleasure of catching up with my gardening friends. One of them -Imelda- brought me this bouquet. She’s a great flower arranger and I’d like to share it with you. Cheers to friendship and gardening! Thank you, dear Imelda 🙂
A happy bunch featuring hydrangea, echinops, allium sativum var. ophioscorodon, scabiosa, salvia, thalictrum elin, nigella damascena…and a rose whose name I forget!
Thanks to Cathy for hosting the vase on a monday: Pop over to have a look at her vase and that of other bloggers!
LG Mathilda ♥
Ahah – you ARE back home, and with a lovely selection of flowers from Imelda! Don’t they work well together? I love it too 🙂
lg Marlies
I hope you had a wonderful time in Switzerland. I love your posy, such pretty colours. It reminds of Vita Sackville West’s description of a tuzzy -muzzy.
What a lovely gift from your friend! The Thalictrum is wonderful – I’ve always wanted to try growing it.
What a lovely bouquet, and gorgeous photos. I love that Thalcitrum!
Schööön, so dicht ran. Gefällt mir ausgesprochen gut.
Oh Annette .. That bouquet is exquisite. What a special friend. And those photos! Heaven! Thank you …
Lucky you to have been in Switzerland – such a beautiful country! Your friend made a lovely bouquet – lots of my summer favourites are in that vase and your photos are stunning – I particularly love the nigella seedpod.
Such a gorgeous arrangement Annette. Your photos create a special mood that makes the flowers even more lovely.
What a fantastic vase and such a wonderful mix of lovely flowers especially the Thalcitrum which I also grow. I never thought of using it in a vase.
Very pretty, Annette – lovely soft colours. The photos, too, are wonderful! Another case of hydrangeas sneaking back into favour – such a beautiful shade of pink!
I love your images of the beautiful arrangement. It is the perfect time of year for picking flowers for the vase.
Beautiful images of a lovely bouquet. What a lovely gift.
What a lovely bouquet to receive, it’s ever so pretty.
Oh Annette that’s a most attractive posy of flowers. You must have been delighted to receive such a gift. Your friend is most talented and has an eye for colour and detail.
ein wunderschöner Strauß ❤
sehr schöner Beitrag, super Tag, KLaus
Brilliant to include the garlic!
As usual your photos are exceptional and I’m glad to hear you had a nice visit.
Beautiful arrangement. I especially like the Thalictrum, I don’t think I have ever seen that used as a cut flower.
Today is the first taht I’ve joined Cathy for In a Vase on Monday and thus have found your ‚vase‘, too. How wonderful! I used to live in Zurich and absolutely loved the flower arrangements there. I can’t explain how, but they were simply different than American (or Irish) and so elegant! Yours today reminds me of that. So glad I stopped by! Dana
